All:

I am looking for large (O scale) gusset plates for using in constructing internal bracing (metal gable frame work) for large structures, e.g. steel mills.  The gussets are indicated by the pens in the following photos.

I realize these can be made, but I need a large number of them and I would prefer to buy them if possible.  I have looked at a number of sources (Tichy, K&S) in the Sourcelist but come up empty.  Plastruct makes a triangular gusset but I'm also looking for some of the other shapes shown below (in quantity).

Your help would be appreciated.

Also, many years ago someone gave me this package of bridge gusset plates (I think it was a train show).  They were unlabeled.  Something in this shape, but larger would be very useful to me.

Would you happen to recognize them or their manufacturer?

Thanks for your help.

I draw one of each shape in Illustrator, copy and paste as many as I need and print. I temporarily stick the sheet to the styrene using spray glue, and then using a straight edge and blade to score, break them out of the sheet. Soaking in Goo Gone removes the glue on the plastic and a bit of alcohol removes the Goo Gone. I used rivet decals to add rivets if needed. You can cut a lot of pieces pretty quickly when using the knife and straight edge.
