Hi everyone , I was wondering if anyone has or will be taking over production of the die cast Weaver 3 rail freight car trucks?

Good question. The cars ride lower on them.
No longer available at this time.
The most recent trucks used by Weaver up until the closing, were provided through MTH, but they were not the same trucks MTH used. There may still be some floating around, as a new shipment came to the plant right around its closing. There have been posts of various entities that bought various inventories at the final sale, one of which was Beth Marshall of Public Delivery. There are other posts regarding Weaver trucks, none of which I believe provide an answer to your question.

The gentleman below bought most of the Weaver parts inventory when they closed including diecast trucks and couplers. A friend of mine bought something like 20 pairs from him a couple of months ago.
