Weaver Models has a Facebook page.
Unlike MTH and Lionel, not too many people have bothered to like and follow their page.
Did everybody forget about Weaver Models while on Facebook?

No, they are probably just doing a bad job promoting the page.
1st. I've heard of it.
No FaceSpace here.....but wish them luck.... I 'like' their product!
Whats FaceSpace?
Whats FaceSpace?
A term used for internet based social media in general.
FACE Book and My SPACE thus FACESPACE.
Don't use Facebook or Twitter but do use many Weaver products.
O Gauge Railroading on Facebook
Several times a week O Gauge Railroading magazine, will post a thread or topics from the Forum. Along with other news on Facebook.

Not to start the Facebook war of who has it or not but I'm thinking the train collecting/operating generation as a whole probably shifts more to the "no" Facebook. That and the fact that Weaver is kind of a nich manufacturer within a nich hobby and that might explain the low number of likes. I'm guessing even Lionel's Facebook page is relatively low on likes (just a guess on my part). But at least they have one which is part of the battle in reaching the world's most pre occupied generation BigRail

I like the O Gauge Railroading FaceBook page.
Don't get too use to it, or hooked on it. Weaver will just cancel it - like my troop kitchen car.
Sorry, but Weaver has made my "list"

Out of curiosity I took a look and they have over 49K likes at the moment. I realize that most of the toy train crowd is of the analog generation, but it's nice to see some manufacturers and publishers using newer technology to reach those that have gone digital.

BEWARE: There is also a Weaver Models page I found on Facebook is, in fact, NOT run by Weaver. It is one of the generic Facebook pages for personalities, organizations, business, etc., who have not officially established a Facebook page on their own accord. When I go to Facebook & type in "Weaver Models," however, unfortunately this is the one that comes up, not the one linked to above.
Believe it or not.... more & more "50++" people are on Facebook each year. So much so that those in their 20's & below are leaving it for Instagram & Pinterest. So, don't assume Facebook is reserved for the "world's most pre-occupied generation." I know of a very active S Gauge Facebook page... & one or two focusing on O gauge.

Actually, I follow six O Gauge, two On30, and one G Scale FaceBook groups. I'm turning 58, and lots of the guys are older than me. Also, each group has several hundred followers. Now I am talking about groups, where individuals like us talk about different aspects of the hobby, but the group is not affiliated with any manufacturer or organization.
I have 'Liked' a number of manufacturers and organizations which post different things inviting comments from the entire Facebook community, not just a relatively small group of members. OGR Magazine FaceBook page is an example
My mention of the Weaver Models Facebook page did increase the number of people who know about it.
They started at 88 likes and following. Now they are up to 146.

I'm one of them. Thanks Andrew!
