Here are some examples of Weaver rolling stock from my railroad.  Some I've weathered some not.   I have about 10 or more Weaver 50 ton hoppers in N&W, B&O, Reading, Western Md., and Pennsy.  Could only find photos of the one Reading 50 ton.

Thanks for posting.  I don’t know which one is my favorite of these beautiful Weaver cars I think I’m going to have to pick the team track Western Maryland  box car unloading tires on that beautiful model AA truck great looking scene

Here is another favorite of mine. Not sure if this is a Weaver Crown or just Crown Model Products.

I have several Weaver cars from a club car custom run program on another forum. Weaver makes up the majority of my rolling stock collection. The Conrail H30 hopper was given to me by Joe Hayter as a thank you for filling in at the product introduction at the TCA Museum. Our club cars featured fallen flag roads, and tongue in cheek text specific to our forum.

Some great looking Weaver Power units as well as that beautiful Rolling Stock. I didn’t know Weaver made so many different Steam Engines. Great Job!!

Here's another Weaver steam engine...a brass 0-6-0 switcher factory weathered by the folks at Weaver long before I started to do my own work.

And here are a few Weaver 40' box cars that I "3-rail-scaled" and weathered...

This shows there are a lot of Weaver fans out there. I'll have to post a few of my favorites when I get a chance. CLEM K your pic could be a crown model. Do you have the original packaging.  When Weaver purchased the tooling from Crown Models they did offer a number of the same cars Crown Models produced...........Paul

Some more models from Weaver, I really enjoy the quality of those brass models and they can be purchased for a very fair price.

In the late mid-80's rolled back to O-gauge buying stuff use-to going back to the late 40's.  Lionel remakes of 6464's and K-Line's versions.  By late 80's had bought four Williams brass steam engine and two MTH scale diesels.  That is when the Weaver scale box cars caught my eye especially since they made so many Pennsy cars.  Have a total of 56 of their box cars, 33 Pennsy.  Somewhere have a box of a 120 die cast Bettendorf trucks to replace the plastic ones.

The last one was this B&O round top.

The one before this was a Pennsy double door box.  Both of these very highly decorated.

Oh Mark, two are Western Maryland one with the "Speed Ball."

I only have a couple of their locos, both of which I've shown before, but what the heck: 

These both came to me as 3 rail engines; since that was before I started dabbling in "high rail", I purchased the conversion kits from NorthWest ShortLine and now they are set up for 2 rail. These are the earlier design with the centrally located can motor with shaft drive. Both run very well; nice and quiet.

Jim, does this special wording indicate it was a custom run for your store?

I have a Weaver PRR "Coal Goes To War" 2 bay ribbed coal car that was a "Custom run for Jim's Train Shop."

Thanks for posting your beautiful collection you did an awesome job on Weathering  those boxcars.

This was my first Weaver piece.  It  was a  undecorated 35’ piggyback trailer I painted it and custom-made the Pennsylvania railroad decals on my computer.

Lee at the time the Weaver cars were the best scale cars going especially  for the money.  Albeit the cost was lower because of the plastic trucks.  I was at the local dealer one day when he was on the phone with Weaver saying that his customers would gladly pay the extra 10-dollars for die-cast.  If recalling correctly Weaver told die-cast trucks for about $13 a set then.
