Newest layout from RC3R’s running Friday night at Great Big Greenhouse. (This particular layout is designed exclusively with Menards buildings.)
This year we have had to adjust our program significantly. We have used two smaller layouts designed specifically for children. The crowds are smaller and protocols are followed. The younger kids are as excited as ever. I get a real kick when I see the look on the children’s faces - real joy. At least some normalcy in this crazy year.

Frizz, the night shots are wonderful. I had been following your Plasticville skyscraper bashes, any photos of them on the layout?
2 of the new LIONEL Standard O scale C&O Chessie System gondolas with steel coil covers.
The crisp graphics appear to be pad and/or screen printed.

Joe,
Thanks! The Plasticville Hospital bash has been completed and installed in the "back row" of skyscrapers downtown; picture is below (2nd bldg from front, with the blue accents). The 12-story Plasticville apartment is still in work... I have all the exterior done and windows installed, but I've paused while I consider how best to light and detail the interior. I think I have a good plan now and should finish/install it soon.

Thanks Joe and no its a lionel fastrack crossing!!!
Christmas time is here. I finished at least one room of my house for the holidays, and it happens to be the room where the toy trains run. Thomas the tank engine along with Annie and Clarabell are running the inner loop of my village.
This is the specially-made Christmas version of Thomas the Tank Engine. He comes with a removable Santa hat.
The outer loop features this Lionel 646 that I picked up 10 years ago. I forget how good a 4-6-4 can look in motion.
I decided to place my Christmas boxcars on this train. Eleven cars made by the Lionel Railroaders Club and the Lionel Collectors Club of America.
This locomotive was part of the Conventional Classics series that Lionel produced about 10+ years ago. The 646 came from a freight set. I also bought a passenger set at the same time with a 2056 leading the way.
I hope that each of you has an enjoyable holiday, however you can celebrate it. I might change my trains each week.
