Watching the videos by @Craignor and @kanawha always makes me wish I would have gotten into tin plate years ago. I have 2 tin plate trains now and since I no longer buy stuff, I really enjoy watching those vids with tin plate trains in them
Thanks for sharing them

The auction site that shall not be mentioned. And it's for Hot Chocolate! Hot Hot Hot we got it!
Some great posts this week. With all of our trains in storage it’s great to see your displays. This pic is of my nephew’s Christmas loop.
Those Polar Express mugs came out with the movie and were sold through Hallmark stores. I bought 4 sets at a store years ago during their end of the season clearance.

Merry Christmas all! It's been a while since I was on here.
Floor trains this year. I didn't set up my prewar table layout. Here's a better video than the one I posted Christmas eve.

Took a short drive up to Freeport, Maine today. Here's the Maine 3 Railers layout at L.L. Bean flagship store. And the Amtrak Downeaster. Happy Holidays.

A Christmas time picture of my dad, around 1986, and the layout I had built in 1983 - it was neat and packed a lot of train action on a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood. He let me set it up in the porch of his business. I was fascinated by military trains/layouts and purchased a Lionel army set and along with Corgi tanks that was the theme. I joined the army a short time later.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Peter it's good to see the giraffe train got a run so close to Christmas.
Christopher, it's been a long time since I've seen your layout posted. Glad to see you've still got it set-up.

They had been cooped up since mid-November and were clamoring for a ride.....I hesitated because with all the things I had to do around Christmas, the thought of having to sweep out those stock cars after a run (they eat a LOT od leaves!), was pushing me back. In the end, I did it because some of my modular group buddies graciously volunteered to help me with the clean up........
Peter
Thanks for that Peter. I got a laugh out of your response.
Another photo from this evening now that Christmas with my wife and my youngest daughter has been celebrated. Still lots of gifts under the tree for my adult daughters, their spouses, and my parents yet this week. The AF Atlantic has been running fairly trouble free after adjusting the SE corner of the 042 curves. I plan on upgrading to 072 track next year so that the train will run that much better! Hope all of you who celebrated today, had a wonderful Christmas.
Got around to making a better Christmas video. Enjoy.
