Some interior photos of a few DTD kits. I couldn't get a great pic of the interior of the bar (I think I added people in there since I took the pics). The other is a Pawn Shop.

Where did you get the front and back marker lights, and what did you do to install them? I'm thinking about a similar procedure.
The front marker lights came from Lionel parts store. You have to buy the housing, lens, & LED's seperatly. The rear marker lights are small LED's. William's already had the holes in the tender. LED's were wired directly to 18 volts AC, 2 in series with a diode and 820 1/2 Watt resistor.
Thanks to everyone for sharing your pictures !

Hi Johan-
Excellent the way you were able to blend the background photo into the scene. Where did you get the background?

Educate me, Johan. I'm curious. Honestly. Why go through all that photoshop procedure? Why not just model it with your hands using physical (actual junk pieces) resources, unless the building in the foreground is a photo, too, and you are limited by a shallow depth there in the layout? Is all of that a photo, then, from the rear-most track edge and beyond?

The kids really like it better & while the scale stuff is very nice, there's just something magical about these classics that I can't really put into words. Anyway - here are some pics from the last 2 weeks.
Added the back wall panels & started the framework
Had my little helpers along with me -

Chris,
I look forward to your postings every week. Postwar has never really been my "thing" but I'm getting interested again in the "basic" stuff - conventional 0-31 type operation or as I call it "No bulls**t"! Just run trains.
Thank you for sharing each week with us. Love the look of your layouts and your work. Thank you!
Thanks! Yeah I tried the scale thing (again!) in the end, the kids & myself just enjoy the postwar stuff a lot more. There's something cool to just let the trains run & kick back & relax w/ a beer on the couch

FrankM,
Thanks for your interested questions. That module is not ready yet and i am gonna put there some "real" junk piles. There is about 3-4 cm deep area near the edge where i am gonna put them and after that we have more 3D effect there. Maybe we must put there some Gantry crane also, let´s see?

Well, it sure looks like you know what you are doing, Johan/BAR GP7#63, so I'll be interested all along to see your triumphs as they progress.
