Morrison Door factory waiting for raw materials to be delivered by rail as local Milwaukee Road freight switches the area.
Art, nice to see a photo of a portion of your layout. It gives me fond memories of my visits.
Art that looks great...I love seeing photos of your work. Looks like a bunch of fun.

So Thomas made a very rare appearance on my layout recently. While he was working, he passed a signal tower, but something didn't seem right. Then, he saw the smoke and flames.
Thomas and his crew rushed into action. They used the water from his tank to put out the fire and save the day.
Of course, I thanked him and told him that he truly is a very useful engine. Then I told him to get his butt back to Sodor, you're breaking rule 55!

Scott has 9 scale Js and his son has one semi-scale J for a total of 10 between them. They have almost as many Js as the N&W had. The N&W had 14.
Scott only needs 4 more Js to equal the entire N&W fleet. That is goal worth achieving. I wonder if Scott's engines all have different numbers?
Let's answer that question:
J613: MTH 20-3363-1
J612: MTH Railking Starter Set 30-4058-1
J611: Lionel 6-38095
J610: MTH 20-3058-1 Unshrouded renumbered 605
J608: MTH 20-3133-1
J607: MTH 20-3058-1 Unshrouded renumbered 605
J606: Lionel 6-38026
J605: MTH 20-3058-1 Unshrouded
J604: MTH 20-3364-1
J602: MTH 20-3365-1E
After taking all of those J's to the museum and placing over half of them on sidings I have begun to believe I may have gone just a bit overboard on the J collection. At home I only have a 9 by 9 train room.
Scott Smith
Scott,
I don't think that you can have too many Js especially since you can run them at the VTM.

A Wave and a Tip of the Hat!
As the tail end of two trains pass the trainmen share a wave and the tip of the hat as a mutual sign of respect. That's how it goes on the MARS!
Do hope your having a great weekend! Bo

I also picked up this S-2 from a local forum member last week and ordered DCS. Now I will finally have both Legacy and DCS.
Uncle Fester, I'm not a big Ford fan but that is a very cool building!
Dan
Uncle Fester nice S2 and smokes very well.

I know, I'm not a Ford guy myself BUT, I also thought it would be a cool setup.
Thanks Dan.
Chessie, That S-2 pours out the smoke. That probably is the best smoker I have in the fleet now.
I am a big Ford fan and agree with Dan . That's a nice building.

Weekend excursion train running from Cordele Georgia to Plains Georgia and back. This is approaching the platform in downtown Cordele. My wife took me on a train adventure to chase trains.

Michael, I wish I could take credit for that detail but it comes from Lionel that way.
They are hard to find.
Great Shot, Bo.
The RI looks great Dave.
Thank you Passenger Train Collector! I enjoy railroaders and love cabooses, so I had fun taking the photo. Bo
Malcolm, thank you! I love cabooses and could be a dyed-in-the-wool caboose collector if I let myself. Like I need another collection, LOL. They do make good subject matter for photos and I always enjoy capturing little scenes using them! Thanks again, Bo
