Roger, my attraction to the SD45s goes back to my primary road, Pennsy.  The Pennsy order several just before the merger with the Central to Penn Central.  But many were delivered after the merger but in Pennsy dress.

This Southern SD45 is equipped for radio control hence white number boards.   I intend to run in lead of a consist with this in mid-consist.

#4611 Crossing the High Line Bridge 006 [800x552)

This guy knows trees! And perspective. And rockface. And good lookin' trains. And weathered girder bridges. !!!!!!! (Have I left anything out? He sure hasn't !)

Real nice, Bo.

Thank you, Moonson!  That is very kind.  Basically, I am just trying apply what I have learned on this forum and elsewhere over the years.   Haven't taken the plunge with regards to weathering my locos and rolling stock.  Maybe I'll take up weathering after I have essentially finished work on the railroad itself.  Thank you again, Bo

This was modeled after the Southern Pacific (SP) Tower at 4th and Townsend Street in San Francisco's old station the tower and station are long gone.

That is an awesome tower to model!  Love the shape the way that it fits between the tracks as has been pointed out.
