Well we have sort of taken a break on this thread so I thought I would post some pictures and maybe gain some interest.  Here are a few from my collection and an operating session.  I guess this was a "Santa Fe" fest this day but the Santa Fe does qualify as a "western road"

@MELGAR I'll raise your "Little Joe" with an MTH  Y1.  Got this a couple of years ago, tested it and never got it back on the rails. Once I get TPRR2 somewhat functional, I'll  try to run most if not all of my engines. Something about the electrics from the early 1900s that are fascinating. 19 inches coupler to coupler.

Ok its not a Little Joe. Only 2 built to run a 70 mile electrified mountain line and scrapped within 10 years. Fascinating back story on these W-1s

Here's a couple of western roads. The Santa Fe Super Chief and a Union Pacific freight, circa 1960s.

Vern, awesome videos. I sure like that Santa Fe Chief with the aluminum passenger cars and ABBA Legacy F7's. That RPO car is so cool, wish I could find a 15" aluminum RPO for my WP CZ. I'd take any railroad name and convert to CZ if I ever find one! LoL thanks for sharing those vids, I'm catching up on posts today now that I have some free time. Cheers!

Hey Scott. Cheers to you! The Santa Fe Super Chief F7 ABBA set is TMCC from 2007. The first two are powered, the last two unpowered. If you are referring to the first car behind the trailing dummy A, it’s actually an MTH Santa Fe plated express reefer, then the baggage car. There is no RPO on this train. I was lucky enough to find an MTH express reefer for this train and at the same time, one for my Union Pacific passenger train, which I run in the summer months.

Thanks for the compliments and good to see you on the forum again. 👍

Well for Western Roads, who can neglect the Southern Pacific and the Santa Fe .  Here are some examples of those roads from Marx.  The #6000 SP F-3 from 1952-1954 and the largest diesel Marx produced the #21 Santa Fe F-3 warbonnet made between 1950-1954.  Both of these locomotives are lithographed tinplate, single motor, powered A and dummy A.

Vern, thanks for clarifying that, and I new your F7's were TMCC but I typed Legacy I guess!!! I have to take a look at your video again and look closer at the express reefer, I think I need new eye glasses!  Enjoy your trains!

Well here it is Western Roads Wed and we missed an entire week!!  I have a few pictures that I can share although some are from my archives so if you remember them I apologize in advance.

The American Flyer  # 1206 Chicago, Milwaukee, and St.Paul Passenger Cars from 1922-1926 and Baggage/RPO Car, first catalogued in 1924.  So this duo is about 100 years old.  The locomotive is clockwork , Type XI  I believe from 1922-26.  I found this as a set, although with things this old, one can never be sure that the contents have not been altered.
