Has anyone experienced when powered up the can motor pulses and wants to move but doesn’t move ? When I manually turn the fly wheel the wheels turn ! I was thinking the oddessy speed control was set to the lowest setting . Going to check that tomorrow . Any other thoughts on what it might be ?

thank you

Had to be ! First time the shell has ever been off ! I bought it factory sealed a year ago !

Pro tip, somehow in this hobby "they" "knew".

All the sealed ones are the ones that did not work and had problems, and then you buy it and pay more for it because it's "sealed". I've lost count how many times "new" and "sealed" turned out to be the problem child of the collection when buying them.

I am a Lionel fan, but in the last 10 years, most of my purchases have been Williams and Weaver locomotives that were upgraded with ERR to Cruise Commanders, even those that originally had DC Commanders in them. I like the simplicity of the ERR, how it gives me Legacy "Lite" features and works if installed properly.

I also upgraded my F3 traditional pullmor Lionels to can motors with Cruise commanders, they seamlessly integrated with TMCC Railsounds B units and gave me the legacy features.

Just such a beautiful set ! And it was almost a paper weight . I have the ABBA bought all separately except for the AA . So much detail in this set. Fan driven smoke in both AA units . That’s 4 ports spewing smoke beautiful to watch . Here is a video of her moving a constice of sibro tank cars ! This f3 set is one of my favorites ! Mind everyone I’m a postwar guys so this is uncharted waters for me .
