Just wondering who is planning to attend the TCA holiday train show this weekend (December 6 & 7) in Raleigh, NC.  It is usually a nice meet with lots of activities for children and lots of trains for sale.  The show is located in the Scott building on the state fair grounds and is open to the public both days from 10 to 3.  If you do attend, please stop by and say hello.

Happy railroading,

Don

I was there when the doors opened and really enjoyed it.  I saw many people I know and spent a good hour looking over the tables and all.  Attendance was light but it was still early (one of the reasons for getting there early).

Anyway, my budgeted amount for the show lasted only an hour - I found a number of bargains including two Santa Fe Warbonnet F3 shirts, a nice work caboose, and an old NIB K-Line steamer than had a tender I really wanted - also at a good price.

It was a good meeting.
