I read in Run 266 the article by George Brown describing this set and its features.

It looks very user friendly, especially for those who have already used the original TMCC set.

And the price is decent at $250 MSRP.

It won't of course operate any Legacy features except those available in TMCC, with the addition of the quilling whistle.

How many of you will be ordering one of these sets? I am kind of on the fence about it.

If you can afford it, I'd say go for another full Legacy #990 Cab-2 unit. You will have all the features and a spare base. It may never go bad or fall upon the floor but... if it does you are all set. And the thing about not using a Cab-2 and a Cab-1"LIGHT" to control the same locomotive because locomotive speed can go from 60 to 1 instantly makes this a no go as we see it. Would rather save for the full featured model since this kid friendly one isn't exactly compatible. (Skip McDonald's once a week for half a year and its paid for)
