The poll appears large enough that percentages by region seem to be stabilizing, so I thought it would be interesting to compare ...

The area I reside in is on Planet Earth,
which in turn is in the Solar System,
which in turn is in the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy,
which in turn is in the Local Group,
which in turn is in the Virgo Supercluster,
which in turn is in the Pisces-Cetus Supercluster Complex,
which in turn is within our observable universe.
I could expand a bit more than that but you get the idea.

Drew, Thanks for initiating an interesting poll. What I find rather curious is that us Western-state folks appear to be somewhat under-represented. I'm wondering if this reflects the popularity of O-gauge in general across the different regions of the USA.
And let us also give recognition to Nicole, Empress of the O-gauge Universe outside of the USA.

Smack between Blue Ridge and Westminster, Tx in the shallow valley of Red Oak Creek which is about 60 miles NE of Dallas. Plenty of huge Red Oaks and Pecans. No crime and no city noise - and the little local 'grocery' makes a sensational fried chocolate pie! BUT! got no cable, got no DSL, and I disconnected the telephone land line that worked only when it didn't rain. Thankfully, Verizon felt it was a good place to put a tower for cell and internet service. On the other hand, maybe some folks aren't so happy about that!
