Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! I got the Lionel RTR Polar Express Train Set with track & CW-80 Transformer which I preferred as I run everything conventional. I also got 2 train books, North American Trains, and The World's Railroads for reading. Still need to finish my rebuild of my layout. Also got 2 great DVD's, Caddyshack, & The Complete 11 years and all 262 shows of Married With Children! A great Christmas, hope you got what you wanted too!

I got track so I can build the outside loop on my new layout. Aside from trains, I got a 1993 Yamaha VXR Pro jet ski and a new phone. It was a great Christmas.
I got a day of pleasure with the wife watching the cats going nuts over real catnip she grew and the surprise presents I got her my present ( main one ) came last night ( well don't have it yet but bought it ) on ebay there where very few bidders so I picked up a new in box Lionel 2346 B&M GP-9 from the Paul Revere set For basically $100 ( yes I checked the doors to make sure the cops where not out there to arrest me for stealing that one. )
A Weaver Hiawatha Hudson with ProtoSounds arrived under my tree. It is a beautiful match to the MTH grey roof passenger cars and runs great!

Gary P,
Santa brought me a new Hallmark/Lionel RTR Santa Toy Maker Express, and a 2004 Hallmark Lionelville operating Ornament, I love them both. A fantastic Christmas here!

Sounds like a great Christmas for all who replied. Great pictures too! Got to get my layout rebuild done enough to at least get one train running again. I've been stalled out by a rash of health issues and rehab and finally getting my endurance built back up where I'll be able to work on it a little at a time besides finally getting back to working both my full & part time jobs. Had torn rotator cuff in left arm, surgery, & rehab. Blew out both knee meniscus twice and stress fracture in right knee. Having to wear orthopedic knee braces both knees so I could return to work and will be able to get both knees replacement surgeries done in 3 years after I turn 60. Insurance won't cover it until then! Enjoy your Christmas gifts and keep those trains running! Also Happy New Year!
From the missus, I got a box of stuff to help rebuild the layout - 600 ft of 14 gauge wire, new wire stripper, 1 3/4 inch wood screws, small angle braces, two rolls of solder, electrical tape, coax brackets (for the wire runs), and zip ties.

As the Lionel ES44ACs, just arrived, my NS ES44AC would also be a present to myself!
My wonderful wife got me the Hallmark's Toymaker Express. I think this is a hint. We haven't had a train under the tree in a long time. I'm always too busy to find the track, find an engine that works, etc, etc. This may be the solution.
This past Christmas I received about a 1/4 as much as in the past (in size that is) because all train related items were N scale.
Nothing in trains. People say they don't have a clue what to give me in that area...they are probably right. I am picky.
Just purchased a Lionel ES44AC NS Engine. Used my Christmas tips, it gets shipped Monday! My son received two sets of double stacks from Santa.
I know you cannot see all of the cars, however, my wife got me the standard gauge Stephan Girard 400 Baby State Cars with Brass trim - gorgeous! She also got me the Lionel 200 series orange gondola with blue containers. She also had a custom made Christmas Quilt.
It features Santa working on trains. It is cool, and I feel blessed and am a happy camper.

I got to put $100 down on a used MTH BIG BOY PS2. I believe it is #20-3127-1.
My wife knows my train room is separate from the rest of the house. No heat or A/C ducts.
So she bought me a Ceramic oscillating heater! Talk about thoughtful!
