I guess I need to get off of my rear and get my TMCC upgrades done as we have been given a 2nd chance. I have a bunch of locomotives I want to upgrade, the following are some of them. Please help me get my shopping list correct, thanks!
1) MTH PS-1 equipped PRR S-2 Steam Turbine. I think I need a Cruise Commander kit and a steam turbine Railsounds kit, right?
2) K-Line Big Boy with factory TMCC and sounds. To add cruise I need which ERR board? Also, to get 8 chuffs per rev I need John's chuff generator? And John Super Chuffer to get better smoke?
3) K-Line Allegheny with factory TMCC and sounds. Would need the same things as the Big Boy, correct?
4) K-Line GS-4 Daylight with factory TMCC and sounds. The K-Line Legacy site says it came with cruise, but it slows down in curves so either it's missing or doesn't work I guess. Also haven't gotten it to smoke either. Does it have a fan smoke unit, or I won't know without opening it up first? Either way, would this one also need the same board sets as the Big Boy? If it doesn't have a fan driven smoke unit, where can I get one that would fit in it?
5) K-Line GG1 with factory TMCC and sounds. I need cruise added to it, so which cruise board to get?
6) RMT GG1. I bought it to upgrade to TMCC and double head with the K-Line GG1. So I just need a Cruise Commander kit and a GG1 Railsounds kit and it'll run with the K-Line GG1 after I add cruise to that one?
