I'm seriously thinking about picking up a new LGB train for around the tree....the Stainz set from Austria of course! We'll see. I personally have difficulty justifying the amount of $$ involved for a train that will be run 3 weeks a year.

For O Gauge, I've got plenty coming, all before 1/1/2017.

-At least 3 freight cars on order

-1 engine

-Lots of accessories

I think I've got enough for now.....

Still waiting on my Lionel gantry crane and culvert loader/unloader set from last Christmas. Hopefully they will be here this year? Also for this year my LHS has a couple of diesels I have had my eye on and they keep tempting me with price lowering. I almost bought them this morning when I was there, so I probably won't be able to hold out much longer.

I would very much like to find anything from scenery items to single dome tankers cars, or another switcher engine(preferably MTH). If my wife was to buy a set I would be thrilled with the Lionel Gingerbread Junction set for use every year under the tree and the holiday layout a friend and I run every year for our towns yearly holiday event.

Sorry to be a Grinch

No need to apologize. That's about as real a Christmas wish as any of us could ever hope for. You're both in my prayers.  We all need to get on our knees and give thanks for our families' health.

"Next stop Christmas!!!" Well...after Thanksgiving, that is.

And Christmas is a time for giving, so as a way to promote toy trains at Christmas time this year...EVERYONE in my family and those on my Christmas list are receiving their very own "Toy Train in a Tin" set.

Gotta start somewhere...right? Sometime...right? Right!!!

Comes with a Working Locomotive, Cargo Car, Coal Car (tender), Caboose and 12-Piece Oval Track Set. Requires 1 AA Battery...not included...but Hey!, they never are! Also includes its very own Tin Box...for the ultimate in safe transport and storage. Those stockings that are hung on the mantle with care...will be filled with much Christmas cheer...Just sayin...
