I 1958 my dad wanted to get me the super O SF Passenger set, it was ordered but very popular.. I wound up with the 1958 SF "Super O" freight set, loaded with features. It had the operating milk station and the missile base /exploding box car. also the submarine car..

I still have the original boxes and track etc.

well having not run my trains in over 20 years, I decided to drag them out and see... a little sluggisn ad first, the engines ran, and after some oil and tweaking, they ran great

my dad would be proud.. the old post war stuff just plain runs...

now to hook up those old F-3 s to the MTH passenger consist and let'em rip!

the picture is the original SF engine set that came with my set, i will post images of the box and accessories ASAP. there is a little paint damage at the top of the dumy which is apparently damage from being stored upside down in the box,, dampness in the attic has almost all of my boxes damp.. the only cause I can think of is the roof ridge vent the roofer insisted upon putting in.. I have never had this problem before.

The RDC was a trade that I took in when I had my hobby shop years ago, never even tested it,and don't remember where it came from or why but it ran!  needs some TLC and a battery cover but  nice overall
