I believe what you're looking for is: 'Lionel O 6-37125 Legacy Writable Utility Module' for Legacy updates. I purchased one at a LHS here in GA. I've also seen posts on the forum here for modifying other Lionel modules so that they are writeable, sorry but I don't have a link handy. A google search for Lionel 6-37125 should turn up several options for you though.
