I posted a bit ago a topic on lighting for the older conventional lighted cars. I took the advice and found some 18V lamps. I have not gone for the LEDs route yet.
I have run the cars, but have found the wiring to be brittle or the solder joints are weak. Of the 6 cars, 4 cars have broken wires going to the light sockets, one at the truck. There was plenty of slack and the wire seem to be flexible enough not to have issues. These are running on 031.
Is this common with the Williams cars?
Also, any advice on repairing the setup? These have cars have metal bodies and do not seem be easily removed from the chassis.
Thanks,
Bill
