Yes the 165 Magnetic Crane a friend rewired mine and used 24 gauge I thought it looked a lil thin.

24 is fine. The OO motor in the crane, solenoids, and magnet don't really draw that much. If the common ground wire doesn't ever get warm, you should have no troubles.

Remember, the 2333/2343 dual motored F3s are wired with just 22 gauge, including the lead from the rollers/pickups.
