I understand how to install this basicaly. Was thinking of getting one for an engine upgrade. Just would like to know what type of leds to buy for light installs and how to wire them in? Do I need resistors and if so where do those hook in? Can some one draw a diagram for me. Thanks

Here's an example of wiring all sorts of LED's to the Cruise Commander. Not only do you have LED headlights, you have directional red/green markers as well. Note the BEEP didn't have smoke, so the smoke output was used to control the number board lamps as well as to power the strobe. Finally, the coupler outputs were used to turn on/off the cab lights. For the front and rear lighting, you really only need three wires to the shell, the two light outputs and frame ground. If you want to use the smoke output for additional lighting, you just add another wire.

No problem. Note that I specified 470 ohms for the headlight, that was for one LED. My diagram shows a 220 ohm resistor, but there are two identical LED's in parallel, hence the lower value for the proper current to the LED's.
