Error message states 'critical error, cannot continue. 5 volt board cannot load 3 volt file.' Rev L TIU worked.

Are you trying to load a 3volt file into a 5 volt board?? If so it I doubt if it will work, Try a 5 volt file. We need a little more info...Having said that I 've only had version 5 for a few days and haven't tried loading sound files yet.
I am loading a 3 volt sound file into a 3 volt board. The Rev G TIU with 5.0 loader thinks that I have a 5 volt board. Works with Rev L TIU.

This happens occasionally with the last few versions of the Loader Program.
What works for me is to disconnect the cable between the TIU and the PC, power cycle the TIU and reconnect the cable.
Then, Search for the TIU from the Loader Program's Options tab.
If that doesn't do it, disconnect the cable between the TIU and the PC, power the PC and the TIU off and then on, reconnect the cable, and do the Search.
