Actually, I sort of understand not wanting returns on a NIB sealed product.  Once you open it, it's no longer NIB, sealed!

GRJ,

I sold a NIB sealed MTH Club car (the flat car with track on top). It was received by the buyer claiming a small part (I think it was a step bar) had broken off. Since I never had taken it out of the box when I received it, I had no idea if the part broke off when I first received it from MTH, or if it was broken when I shipped it to him.

I gave him a full refund.

A little history on the K-Line A5. Here is the original 2001/2002 K-Line Collector Club announcement for the A5. I bought the TMCC version (engine 913) for $269 which I thought was a good price. The version without TMCC was $139, a great deal for a die cast engine with smoke.

In 2007 Vol 2, the engine (number 411) only sold with TMCC was $329.
