Am trying to load the engine info into our new Southern U30c but the module says 'Northern Pacific' as the engine name. The module is labeled correctly for the Southern but I'm hesitant to load the wrong info.
Easiest thing to do is scroll through the menu and load the info manually. The modules really aren't necessary, they are basically there for convenience. It only takes an extra minute or 2 to select features and type in the loco info, i.e. "Legacy Railsounds"," Diesel", "Southern U30c" etc. There have been rumors that future locos may not include the modules at all.
Other than the engine's name and engine number a steam or diesel Legacy module is pretty generic. It's something that can be easily changed when loaded.
email mike reagon and tell him the item number for you loco and he will send you the correct module. there might be some special item for you loco in there. I know the module for my sp 4436 puts in an icon that blows the air horn and I;m not sure that can be added the other way.
