wtb: Overland Palace Poultry car

First of all they are expensive when you find them. 400-500 price unpainted.

they are a ***** to paint, you have to remove the side screens to paint it correctly.

The place poultry livery was green and white, others were black and white.

They were imported with a decal set to do them. most resales of this item

are lacking the decals. So if you find one you need to ask if it comes with the decals.

I have heard this from Rich Yoder---  still want one .     Now imagine the stink of a consist of these passing your house back in the day.....  each car with 5000 chickens... yo--that is some stink!

There was one listed at the auction site which was the topic of a recent thread here. I think the auction is on the 26th.

I am bidding on that model; I am hoping fellas won't run it up....    Would like a back up in case....

There weren't many of these cars.  The largest fleet I found in the 1943 ORER is 400 belonging to North American Car Corp.
