Not very likely, but were that to happen, Lionel would be out of business. Without collectors, and the idea that the purchase of newly made items will have future value, sales would plummet.

The Eastern Division should have the number of people registered, and the number of tables reserved. They do not keep track of actual attendance. Perhaps the numbers are too small to worry about, but sometimes people register and do not attend.

Happens all the time. I have registered/paid to attend the meet on numerous occasions but then found I was unable to attend for one reason or another. I have registered for every meet since I began working with OGR some six years ago, but have certainly not been able to attend every meet. Even the upcoming one next week is somewhat in doubt at this point although I am registered and have a room reserved.
