ZW-L Set Up For TMCC

Try plugging the TMCC BAse into a wall socket with ground.  Maybe the power strip doesn't have a good ground.  G

Thanks.  When I get home I will give that a try.  I will also switch out the base, and see if the base is the problem since I have a second base.

Just to point out the obvious...The ZW-L has a binding post specifically for the Command Base wire. It's underneath the wall power wire. Don't use a U post.

Thanks Carl.  I did use that binding post, but that was a good suggestion, particularly from someone transitioning from a Celebration Series ZW.

What is the difference between a celebration series ZW & aZWC?

None that I know of, though I think the later ZW-C may have gotten metal pot mounting brackets.

Thanks again for all of the help.  I'm pleased to report that I was able to get  the command features of the ZW-L working.  As is often the case,  it's not simple to figure out what ultimately worked.  I did move the plug for the base back to the power strip that I had previously used, and also disconnected  and re-connected the wire from the base.  I then kept trying to properly follow the sequences for TMCC set up in the manual.

As to the earlier question, the Celebration Series ZW was marketed when the bricks were 135 watts.  I'm not sure if that was true for the ZW-C.

The assistance is much appreciated, as the ZW-L is a treat to operate.

While the Celebration Series ZW came with the 135 bricks, it was always capable of 180W/channel, just like the later ZW-C version.  The specifications are the same for the two.
