Here we go! HamFam breakfast prior to Spring Thaw. Saturday, Feb, 25th, beginning at 6:30 a.m....or however early some goofballs want to get there!!!!

Arrive when you can. Fun hour or more with OGR Forum guys and their guests.

Either get your advance tickets at outlets to gain early admission, or I will have some available at the breakfast.

Early admission gives you the right to be among the first who get to avoid running into Sean Marchev before 9 a.m.

I am planning on being there but as most everyone knows those breakfasts are a bit early for my schedule.  I hope that we will be keeping with the tradition of the 11AM photo shoot of the OGR forum members that attend this show. The way the weather has been going this year the "Spring Thaw" name might really be appropriate.

Hi Bobby,

The Allentown meet is smaller then Springfield, but it has a lot more 3 rail trains. It is very enjoyable and next to York Allentown is my favorite meet. As you have read in this post we have a breakfast gathering at a local restaurant two blocks from the meet at about 6:30AM on the Saturday of the meet ( this year it is 25 Feb ) We have a wonderful time at the breakfast and you are most welcome to join us. Give Allentown a try, you will not be disappointed.

Enjoy

Hi Bobby,

Here is a link to the information on the Allentown Meet

http://www.allentowntrainmeet.com/

The meet is held in one building, on the ALLENTOWN FAIRGROUNDS in the  AGRICULTURAL HALL it is as the flyer on their web site states over 50,000 square feet and the admission is $7.00. Doors open at 9AM. If you get an early admit ticket either by mail ( info on the flyer ) or at our breakfast you can get in at 8AM. The early admission is nice as you get an extra hour with far less crowds. ( very pleasant )  There is a very good selection of three rail trains both new and used as well as scenery items buildings and figures. In addition there are books and videos and railroad historical groups that cover the railroads of the area ( Lehigh Valley, Reading, EL, Conrail. ) At the OGR booth at 11AM we have a gathering and a OGR forum member group photo. As I said earlier next to York this is my favorite meet, its a lot of fun>

Enjoy
