In the October/Nov 2010 issue of OGR (Editor's Corner) you stated that Mr Calabrese (CEO/President of LIONEL) mentioned that Lionel is actively developing its own system to replace Superstreets. Do you have any information on the current status of this development and/or possible release date? Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Woody

Good followup woody,

I was patiently waiting for Superstreets switches; but finally gave up a redesigned to a point to point with a turntable at each end. I did buy some of Bachmann's streets to fill in and they appear to be identical except for the color.

Nope, I haven't heard a single peep about Lionel's plans ever since the subject was first brought up.  My guess is that plan fell by the wayside somewhere along the line.

I, like many others, continue to hope that Bachmann does something more with the E-Z Streets line.  A pair of switches would likely make all the difference in the world as far as sales of that line is concerned.

As I’ve posted here before I was told by a Williams rep at the October 2012 York Meet that they would be out in April.  I guess they’ve changed their plans.
