I took apart the log loader to give it a new paint job and broke two wires off the board.  I need to solder them back but I'm not sure where they go.  In the picture it's the yellow wire at the top (AC power) and the green wire at the bottom (Unload).

I think what you are looking is the under side of the 2004 Lionel remake of the 164 log loader. This featured the Train Master Commond Control.  I do not see where Lionel has produced any support liteature for it.  If someone could just look at the under side of one of these and report where the wires go would be the easiest way fix this. Otherwise I think a call to the Lionel Service Center will be required.

Traindork and Larry, the wiring is OK.  I had to cut the wires to disassemble the unit.  had a bare spot on the wire I covered with liquid tape (got a little sloppy).

 

The unit was produced in 1996.  Maybe that helps.

Moonman thanks for the parts sheet.  I save that for future reference.

 

I believe David is right, if someone could just take a picture or report on where they see the wires hooked up that would be great.
