WELL MY NEW SOUTHERN  PACIFIC  PA-1 HAS IMG_5441IMG_5442IMG_5444IMG_5445IMG_5446IMG_5447IMG_5443ARRIVED AND IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT I CANNOT FIND THE ON/OFF SMOKE SWITCH. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE IT IS ?  HERE ARE SOME PICS.

IT IS A REALMOOTH RUNNER. THANKS SCOTT FOR A REAL QUALITY PRODUCT. HOW ABOUT A 2ND RUN

There is a hatch on the roof of the locomotive near the back end. It is secured to the model by two small magnets. Lift off the hatch and you will see a switch with three positions - "conv - off - tmcc." The switch must be in the middle "off" position to turn off the smoke unit in conventional operation. I called Sunset/3rd Rail for clarification on this but it is in the operator's manual. The quality of this model is evident from its precision assembly and smooth operation.
