3d printer psu repurposed

martindOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

Has anyone repurposed a 3d printer PSU to run 12v or less led's instead of using wall warts. I was thinking of using buck converters to drop voltage to what was need to run different sets of lights. The specs on the PSU are Output 12 volts and 20 amps.
