Several months ago my Pittsburgh& West Virginia 0-6-0 engine had lurching problems that was traced to bad tether which I replaced (bad move).  Somehow something shorted in re-assembly and board(s) went to PS2 heaven.  I located an Atlantic Coast Line 0-6-0, swapped shells and all is happy now.

So this leaves me with a dead set of PS2 boards.  I poked around tonight and found that the LM2937ET-5 regulator is putting out 3 volts instead of 5, leading me to believe something further up the line has gone south.  Without schematics, I don't really want to tear the boards apart as the culprit will probably be some "unobtainium" surface mount part that popped in the switching power supply, or the controller processor etc.

Most likely I will just remove the boards keeping the tether, add a diode bridge and run the engine in conventional mode and as an aside, it will also be good for spare parts.

Any takers for board set (minus the tether harness)(you pay shipping), any value or just toss boards?
