Having a problem with my caboose and one set of wheels getting stuck when being pulled at the end of a train. If I push said caboose, the wheels rotate freely. It only seems to stick if being pulled. I've tried lubricating them but to no avail. Would really appreciate any help from fellow forum members!
If its any help, the wheels in question are on the front truck, and its the 2nd set of wheels (the ones toward the center of the car)

Have you measured the distance between the wheel flanges that are sticking and compared the distance to "know good" wheel distances?
I recently purchased a Union Pacific Ca4 caboose and all the wheel flanges in the trucks are at different dimensions. They bang through my Ross switches right now...
Have you tried swapping the problem wheelset with a know good wheelset? You should be able to swap the wheelsets, if they are the fast angle wheelsets, with just a flat-tip screwdriver and then push the other wheelset back in.

You might check by the pickup roller. On my UP CA4 caboose the pickup roller had a dodad on it that was rubbing on the axle.
A tip about using newer lighted cabooses with command control be extremely careful as I burnt out a truck assembly on a Lionel lighted caboose using it on a command control track. Had to make the caboose into an unlighted one as repair parts were just as much to repair it as buying a new caboose.
