Calling all NYO&W enthusiasts...

We are planning a very short run of this in-house custom decorated MTH Electric Trains Railking 2-8-0 Consolidation steam locomotive in New York Ontario & Western roadname.  Here are a few pictures of the first one done.

Pricing hasn't been determined yet, however they will be less than $450.  We are asking if this is something you would like to add to your NYO&W model railroad.  We are well aware of the differences of this model to the prototype, however several of our customers has been asking for mid-sized NYO&W steamer and here it is!

Sorry I'm late to the party, had an audit onboard my ship today.

I'm on the fence honestly and will have to sleep on it. For a generic runner, it looks nice, but as stated, off from the prototype. Price will probably be my determining factor.

What kind of curves is it rated for?

Here are a couple pics of 311... and yes, it is the same engine. I don't have my reference material with me to give the full explanation, but it was modified during its service life.

Hi Chris,

The minimum curve is O-31".  This locomotive is essentially used in Railking ready to run sets, and sometimes is cataloged as a separate sale locomotive as our models were originally.

This is a PROTO-SOUND 2.0 locomotive, custom programmed in our MTH National Authorized Service Center with sound appropriate for a 2-8-0 consolidation steam locomotive.

The price for this locomotive will not exceed $450.00.  At this time, our custom run will be less than 10 pieces available.
