Tenino, WA. It's south of Olympia.
It was in the low 30s at that point, the first winter snows of the season had only been going a few hours at that point. Snow isn't common here, you can go several years between snows.
We're supposed to get a lot of snow tonight, most forecasts call for anything between 6 to 12 inches. I just hope its not too heavy to bring down the power lines, otherwise I will cope. By Sunday it should be over and rains will come after that.
I figured that as the roads were okay that day, it might be my best chance to get snow shots with trains without a white knuckle drive there and back.
P51, Lee, wow, awesome night scenes with the CSX, possibly the BNSF train, just gorgeous photography, thanks for posting. Trumptrain, Beautiful MU pennsy passenger train on a beautiful layout. Capetrainman, great night shot at a cool train station, awesome scene. Happy Railroading Everyone

John, are those Popsicle Stick boardwalks?
I ask because I have used Popsicle Sticks (a box of 1,000 my sister gave me that she purchased from an art supply store 30 years ago) for various things on my layout. I must still have at least 500 of them left. Arnold

Arnold,
Wow, that's a lot of popsicle sticks. Actually, mine are leftover parts from a dollhouse project. 😀
