🌭🌭 Paul, I'll take two with mustard, kraut, and onions'...😜 Nothing like a late night dog, after a night on the town'....🍻🍺🥂🍸🍹🥃...
Quarter Gauger 48, thank you for the compliment, I had a lot of great help doing the scenery on my layout, unfortunately their health is dwindling at this time and they’re in their late 80’s, nearing the 90 year old mark, so, they haven’t been able to come visit do to this pandemic. We have had both vaccination Pfizer shots, praise the Lord. We added several mirrors in the drop in ceiling cut from 4 by 8 sheets of Pleximirror. This allows us to see trains in hard to see areas of the layout while operating trains on the 5 levels. I plan to add 4 more pieces soon, the place I purchase this material also does the cutting, 2 by 4 panels, just drop them in. My friend has a nice new Ford F-150 pick up to help with our projects.
That is an excellent idea, Larry!! I have never heard of mirrors in the ceiling for hard to see areas in over 50 years in model trains.
larry that so cool in more ways then I can count'.. A great addition to a layout'.. and you've got one heck of a layout'...😀
Farmer John, that is such a great scene, at first I was wondering how you get under there to fix things if needed and then when you showed it under your station it all made since. That for sharing I wish I would have thought about stuff like that, who know maybe one day when I get older I will know what I really want! LOL
Again Looks great!
Pat , you did it again . Really nice.
I like the switcher. I have a Pennsy model but the boards have given up the ghost just recently.
Boy , after looking at your scenes for so long I have to wonder how many engines you run all the time !🤔
Keep up the nice work and stay safe .
Farmer John'.
That scene is outstanding; phenomenal; spectacular; and fantastic all in one'.. Excellent modeling and work'..👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐😃

Thanks Ted. I seen the top of it one block over and I knew exactly what it was. I will have another surprise here tomorrow.

Thanks so much Dallas for your kind words! I usually run 4 engines simultaneously ( one on each of the lower main lines plus one on the industrial spur and one on the Mountain Division ) plus a trolley car.

Patrick, that's great looking stake body truck, did you paint/detail it yourself ?
Since Switcher Saturday is dedicated to MTH this week I'll post these here. The first one I took somewhere in Illinois last week. I was traveling back from down south saw it and pulled over for a quick picture. The second ones are Burlington Junctions parked for the night. I took these on my way home from work last night so it was dark.
You know Larry, your layout isn't to shabby either! LOL I would have to say its one of the best I have seen posted here! Every time I see it I just drool! LOL

@trestleking: Thanks so much! I bought the stake body truck in the Orange Hall at York from Die Cast Direct. I weathered the bed of the truck, however, other than that I did no customization.

Dave. Nice pics. I’ve seen those Burlington’s hundreds of times but I was always on Railroad Property and could never get a pic of them. They spotted grain cars in Valley Park Missouri.

This pair is actually in my home town in Montgomery Illinois, They work about a dozen businesses on a couple miles of track and the BNSF picks up the cars. I wish I knew where I was when I saw the PLRX units, They were somewhere between Missouri and here, I'll look it up some time it was all roadside so an easy place for photos.

Thanks Dave. I’m sure these are not the same ones but you never know. Do you mind I asked where you live in Illinois?

Montgomery right off of Route 30. Burlington junction works a yard at Webster and Route 25 and the businesses up Accutt Rd. Lots of viewing area but you can't get as close as you could a few years back,.
