Came across this old photo from when we had our garage layout that started back in 2009.
My wife was from FL (Tampa), we live in the Appalachian mtns, and my favorite RR was the Santa Fe; hence our RR was named the A.T.&S.F. The white viaduct represents the old Flagler Causeway in Key West
spending a summer's night camping out in the back yard. That's the model of my daughter's house that I made.

On the track outside of Bob's Country Store, a reefer from the local vineyard, 'Lighthouse Vineyasrds," is placed to help introduce the new line of "reds" that Bob is bringing to his customers! Bob is kicking off the new brand with a come one, come all wine tasting event every night this week...

Early Friday morning activity at the "Charles Street Yard" as the late fall season sends her first snow of the season...
Friday is always laundry day at the Rapp household. That's a model of my parents' house that I made along with a fairly accurate back yard too. Mom and Dad figures included!

Morning guys, I have to say great pictures from you all!
@Jim Teeple you sure have some outstanding buildings! It is a pleasure to see them being posted here!
@Capetrainman Paul great scenes of your town and sorry about the wreck on the tracks! One would think that wouldn't happen till the snow started!
@leapinlarry Larry I would have to think from the time I started fallowing you this is the first time you posted photos and it didn't have one BN or BNSF in the photos!
I hope you all have a great weekend!

Jim, great scene, I like the worker coming out of the manhole. How come there aren’t 5 other workers standing around watching him? LOL
@Jim Teeple - everytime you post those photos of your exceptionally beautiful work, I keep wondering how many of these have you made? It seems like everyday you post 3 or more and they never repeat. Not that I mind, mind you! I love studying them.
You often have very creative parts to each "scene". I particularly liked the one with the guy pasting a sign on a building: this one

Man, I just hate following Jim's posts. It's all downhill after his.
When Miller came out with this animated drive-in sign featuring "Gone With the Wind", there was no stopping me from getting it. First, I had 7 of his signs already and loved each one. But this one is special because my sister, rest her soul, was a nationally recognized expert on GWTW - both the novel and the movie. This one was a no-brainer.

Don, I’m not sure why this wouldn’t be acceptable in the vehicles thread. It’s a great looking truck and a great scene! I’m glad you posted it.

Don, you've got a lot going on in this picture so it would qualify for many of threads here on the forum. I saw, read and marveled at your post in the vehicles thread earlier today. You went it quit a bit of detail on your kitbashed fish monger truck so it definitely fit in that thread.

Don great looking truck and layout!! It does belong in that thread. I got your six
I used to take these kinds of pictures years ago when I still had a camera with the capability to do so. I miss taking them as they are great reminders of Christmas layouts in past years. These are from my 2002 layout.

YEP! I used to have a Canon AE1. It was a film camera. It eventually became nearly impossible to buy film and/or get it developed so I sold the camera to a used camera shop.
