Just picked up a C&O Hudson with early TMCC w/o CC, also has an AC motor, wondering if there are any DC motor that can be used to replace the AC so as to upgrade to a ERR command system? Thanks

Well, the exact model of the locomotive would help a bunch. There are conversions to many AC locomotives, but usually they are the ones with the separate motor. Are you perhaps talking about the C&O Yellowbelly Hudson? I've converted several of those, I send them to Pat @harmonyards for the motor swap, then I do the electronics upgrade.

My apology, yes Lionel 6-18043 C&O Streamline Hudson & Tender. I have the electronics have done several ERR and DCS conversions, just need a DC motor to complete the conversion to TMCC w/ CC.
Well, the motor is not just a drop-in, and I'd recommend going with a Pittman if you do the conversion. When Pat does the upgrade, he also does the nice stainless drive shaft and machines out the shell so the motor fits.
Also, if you want a good looking cab, I have a couple of the Vision Line cab backheads and a lighting board that lights up the instruments. The yellow LED's light up the gauges, and the four white ones are flickering LED's that illuminate the flickering firebox. The whole backhead lighting board runs from track power.

Yeah, checked out your conversion from the link earlier and yeah, I think I prefer having the motor done with the drive shaft. That skill is a bit above my pay grade. When would be a good time to stop by the store and arrange to send the locomotive out? Also noticed the bulkhead in the link and was going to ask about that, that is an absolute necessity.
Thanks
The Vision 700E backheads are NLA. Once folks discovered them they were snapped right up. Similar ones can be salvaged from junk engines though. Just a bit more work.

I have several of the gray ones in stock, and I have the perfectly fitted PCB to light it up as well.

You can send the locomotive directly to Pat, no reason to add expense to the shipment by introducing a middleman. The cab interior can be fitted by Pat as well, he did a real nice job on mine as well as a customer's I also sent to him for the same treatment. If you want the cab interior, you can stop by my place and pick it up and put it in the box for shipping the locomotive down to Pat. That way you get it all in there, then you just have to add electronics.
Thank you, I will stop by some day this week to get all the information to contact Pat to make arrangements to ship, as well as pick up the bulkhead and board for the locomotive.
