Anyone use them ? Think they were made by IC controller.....
What's an Action Recorder?
Its like on DCS, you record yourself operating your trains, accessories, and switches for a period of time or amount of button pushes on the remote, then park the the train where you started, then playback the recorded session and everything operates just like you recorded. Kinda a fun thing to do with guests. I do this with my passenger train let it run while I peddle freight.
No need for ARC anymore. Legacy remote has same functionality. SensorTrack has as well.
I loved my ARC. I think I have the original IC Controls box and the newer black box. That was a lot of fun to goof around with. I uased to set up a whole scenario with 3 engines, operating accessories... that was a blast. Messing around with the ARC was actually one of my fav parts when I had my layout. I used to do a lashup with the two Custom series Geeps, with the drag racing sound sets. Now that was cool. I still use an ARC when I set up my standard gauge floor layout sometimes. Record a starting sequence, horn etc.
