Even from the grave Steve Jobs doesn't allow Apple customers to use flashplayer.
Any way around this antiquated forum software requirement?
Thanks!

David - I use all Apple devices.  When you're adding pictures to a message you post on the boards here, it has nothing to do with flash.  You have to upload your images to a place like "photobucket" and then link to the images within your message.

To upload pictures using an Apple iPad or iPhone, here is what you need to do.

1. Download the Chrome (google) web browsing app.

2. Download the Photobucket app.

3. Upload your pictures to Photobucket using the app.

4. while in Photobucket, select the picture you want to upload, then touch the little "i" in the bottom right corner, then touch the IMG code.

It should then say IMG code copied.

5. Open Chrome and go to the OGR forum, select "request desktop site" in the settings so the forum looks just like it does on a PC.

6. Create your post, paste the IMG code you just copied directly into the text entry block.

7. touch submit.

Also the Macbook Air has a Flash hard drive.

Dont confuse Flash Player with a Flash Drive.

Flash Player is a software application for web browsers.

A Flash Drive is just another name for a Solid State Hard Drive (SSD).

While Apple was first to point out Flash was dead on the mobile platform, even Adobe had to admit it. All the modern Android systems do not support Flash any longer since Adobe stopped updating it  (EOL) about a year ago.

I wish it would die on the computer platforms as well. Whenever my web browser starts going bad it often ends up being some sort of Flash problem

Thank you! Surprised this requires flash player to post pictures, betting nearly half are accessing forum on hand held devices. We need to be able to do it without any type of desktop due to location.

You would lose that bet.

Less than 20% of forum members use an iOS device to access this forum.

Hi Rich,

How can you tell who is utilizing what platform at what time? I used my Dell PC windows 7 earlier, my iPhone with app mid day and now my Ipad with safari. Most of the time on the go, I access this site with an IOS Apple product, being iPhone or iPad. But I tend to mix it up.

Is that at any one time or total?

If you view it from a mobile device and then a desk/lap machine later how does it tally those two views? What about a Apple mobile device using wi-fi? What does it see that as? Mobile or not?

Thanks.

(This was the first time we attempted to post an image from a non Flash Player machine and did not realize it was needed. And it was a cool image.)
