Hi, purchased this set and found it came without a smoke unit (proto 3). After being ****ed off I am wondering if a smoke unit can be added. Should i do all 3,or just the A or A and C? Thanks JB

Is the trail A powered or dummy? Normal Premier ABA only have smoke in the lead and trail powered units. G
Its a dummy...
It's certainly possible to add smoke, but it probably won't be cheap. Since they were designed without smoke, you'd have to figure how to mount the smoke units, cut out the stack, create a manifold for the smoke, etc. It's a lot easier with models that were designed with smoke as you can buy the components like the manifold and smoke unit mounts.
OK Thanks, I'll just return it. To make a proto 3 unit and pay the money we do for them, not to have smoke is just absurd. I would have never even thought to look to see if that was an option. Just assumed it was part of the proto set up. JB
