American Flyer 474 Coal Dump Car in Action

Prewar American Flyer 474 coal dump car in action. These cars are rare, especially operating ones. The load is 6 mm beads from Michaels. Car has been repainted in Rail Chief body red (215 red).

Restored American Flyer 474 coal dump car. This shows the actuating rail that makes the car operate. This is wired to a Lionel uncoupler. If I were to convert a car to Lionel postwar trucks I could use slide shoe trucks.
