KEVIN CONGRATS!!!!! I think this is one heck of an Station. I bet that there are others outher thinking about the move you made today. Its great that Dorcie issued her offer pre YORK so that anyone can order rather than just people attending YORK. CONGRATS AGAIN!!!!
Well, the truck leaving for York, PA just left the dock door with the Albuquerque Station on it!! We're going to have a blast this year with many new products to share - such fun!
I just posted picture and link to purchase the Albuquerque Station on my blog: www.blog.traindame.com

I guess I just ordered number 6. Can't wait to receive it. Looks absolutely beautiful!
Maybe a heads up for those who have ordered the Albuquerque Station from TWD.
I have been watching the FedEx Tracking information since I got the e mail on Saturday. I noticed yesterday that the data was showing no package pick up and no transit data.
However it did have an estimated delivery date of tomorrow. So today I called FedEx to find out what was really going on.
It seems that the package was picked up Monday and assigned a NEW TRACKING NUMBER (only the last 3 numbers changed) and that it is now scheduled for THURSDAY delivery not Wednesday.
The reason I am posting this is because I think the package will require a SIGNATURE rather that just a drop at the door.
It’s a busy time of the year and lots of packages in the system and I did not want it to be handled too many extra times. Also not sure what days FedEx are not working with Christmas coming.
From what it looks like it is a ground package I think. I called Darcie at TWD just so they were aware THAT THE TRACKING NUMBERS MAY HAVE CHANGED.
See above FYI
Yup, mine did the exact same thing. The good news is that it is now in Phoenix, only 120 miles away!
PeterA That is good news. I seer that mine left Nashville TN this morning so its 9 hours away. Looks like I should see it Tomorrow as FedEx said.
The pictures of the ABQ Station are quite nice. Looking forward to it being here and placing it on the layout.
Nice building!
Is that the place in ABQ where Bugs made that wrong turn?

Nope, that was on the wrong side of the tracks
Great job!
My friend Vernon Hart just called and said that he received his depot today and he has it sitting on his layout. He said that it is better than he remembers seeing it while we were in Dallas in October.
I will go over later this week and take pictures of it for you all.
Merry Christmas to everyone !!!!!
My station arrives tomorrow.
Excitement on the Munoz Lines !!!

Received mine today. What a beautiful piece, you guys will not be disappointed.
Will not be on my layout for a while, but had to plug it in and get the lights on.
Surefire WOW it looks W O N D E R F U L !!! Hope mine beats the snow storm that is on the way. Thanks for posting the picture. It probably helped living in Texas to get it a day earlier than some of us will.
Roger that will be great to see pictures of an ABQ placed on a layout. Thanks
Surefire,
that looks great !
Dorcie and Roger were nice enough to re-letter our station for the Munoz Lines.
Yeow . . . . . I cannot wait.

Eliot, do you have a place ready on the layout for the ABQ1 ?
I am working tonight on an elevated framing plan to place the ABQ2 on. Hope to get it placed over the Christmas Holidays. Looking forward to seeing yours also on your layout.
I am working on getting our station area ready as we speak.
I am going to try to emulate the scene below.
I will have two tracks in front of the station, a parking area next to it and behind.
There will be a short approach track next to the station similar to the track in the photo with the tank cars refueling the Super Chief.

Scrapiron, if your previous work is anything to go by, I cant wait to see your new station in its place on your layout.
Few more pictures for you all:
Eliot, I would like to see how they did the lettering for you when you get a chance.
I had asked Dorcie to put the name of our little village on ours but with the confusion of names I think it sliped thru the ties in the tracks. She said they will fix me up. I am concerned about removing the ABQ letters and putting new ones on. Maybe she and Roger will talk and decide on a better method like a thin strip already lettered than can be placed over the area that the ABQ letters were located.
Still waiting for Fed Ex to find his way here. It's supposed to be on the truck for delivery but it's getting awfully late. No matter, I will not get to see mine till Christmas morn since Santa will hide it till then.
Yeow !!
What a beautiful station !
Pops, I will take photos ASAP.
Scrappy
Peter,
That station will look great on your wonderful layout !
I hope to see photos.

Peter maybe you can take the ABQ out of the box and place it on the layout and PUT THE BOX UNDER THE TREE
I received my station today. It was packed exceptionally well! Not sure what I was expecting but the structure was much heavier/stronger than I expected. As amazing as the photos are they simply do not do this station justice. It is just that beautifully done! Thanks very much to the folks at Trainworx! You created a masterpiece.

I filled the trashcan with packing peanuts. I thought it would never end puling those out.
My ABQ2 Arrived this morning I am very happy that it is out of the crush of all the packages in the FedEx system.
The people at TWD did another Grreeeaaaaatttttttttt job in this creation. Thanks Roger,Dorcie & Team
Did anyone else receive the ABQ TODAY?

ELIOT YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT HOW NICE THESE UNITS ARE. I HOPE TO GET SOME WORK DONE ON THE LAYOUT OVER THE HOLIDAYS.
Will not be on my layout for a while, but had to plug it in and get the lights on.
That's just 50 shades of Awesome. Love those Southwest ATSF depots.
I noticed the "U's" are "V's" I know in Latin, U = V. Same in Spanish? Or possible in English in some instances?
