This will be my first York experience, and I hope the first of many!
I have looked in the Forum, but could not find this question: Are there any test tracks that I can check an engine on?

I believe each of the halls has a test track, I know I have seen them but not 100% sure for all the halls.
That is an excellent question.
For those who are interested in the various control systems, it would be good to know whether any of them are set up at the test tracks.
Or whether they test traditionally controlled trains only.
I've never had occasion to use a test track at York.
CW: Last year I tested DCS in the ORANGE HALL's test track.

never been to York, but the shows that I take my board to in Northern and Central new York State use me as a test track. I have a bench set up and if they want we can run it around my board for a couple of laps.
so ask the guys at the layouts, if they are like me, they will probably be more than willing to test what you have.
While I have seen test tracks in every member hall I haven't noticed one in Orange hall, but really haven't looked. I have never seen one with DCS or TMCC attached to it though Probably too swipeable to leave there

Chris, the one in the Orange hall has both. It is on the Atlas end of the hall.
