From the people I talked to this should have been a large turnout. Anxious to see photos.
Thanks.

I'm dying to hear if Erik Stott had the nerve to show up !
What meet are you guys referencing please?
^ The Chicago March Meet from this past weekend .
Yes, Erik Stott was present at the March meet and had his models on display.
Was George Kohs there? How's that Big Boy coming along?
Erik was there with his centre beam lumber cars, they look super, hopefully someone on here can post some shots.
This years March Meet was a successful diversion to get me thru a sad period of my life (I have lived a blessed life but always knew eventually some unpleasant things would happen all at once). So for me, this years March Meet was all about seeing old friends and making new ones. 55 people signed the guest book at the Rockford O Scalers open house. Unfortunately I only took a few pictures and most did not turn out due to a cracked camera lens.
I had a great time catching up with old friends and making new ones. I think it is one of the best meets in the country and look forward to making it back next year. The Windy City lived up to its nickname, but the rain held off at least until Sunday. I was negligent in taking photos at the meet, but did have fun at the Museum of Science and Industry on Sunday. Photos when I download them as I just got home yesterday.
In terms of trains, lots of great items and I expressed great restraint in not taking any home to the delight of my spouse.
I want to thank all the people that stopped by bridge's railroad. It was a great time, close to eighty people ended up passing through the my doors and I hope they enjoyed my efforts. lots of questions lots of exchange of ideas great time. See you next year for the greatest show on earth
George Kohs wasn’t there. 99.99% of people I spoke with said his website is BS and a tactic to keep from refunding money he doesn’t have.
Erik was there with his display. The lumber cars are magnificent. The coal gondolas he had were painted and supposedly close to being boxed in Korea for shipment. When they are shipped that should show people he is for real and has intentions of delivering all models paid for. I will attach photos of gondolas that were taken Saturday.
