hey that's right... in two days it's August... start of the Christmas season, right?

 

am i the only one who has a problem with those who wish the future would get here sooner?

If the future got here sooner I would have less time to play with my trains.

I haven't registered yet. Plenty of time.

They sent me, and everyone else in the office, two registration booklets, but I'm still not going (I will pay the registration fee, however).  See ya in the spring, Eddie...maybe. 

Just got mine today also Mr. Eddie - 

and I sent my application in by mail, with a check, on July 21.  That's a pretty good turnaround time!

 

A very light pastel lilac, I would say, Eddie.  I think they're saving money on ink.

Got the packet in the mail but have not registered yet.  Will likely do it online next month.  Oh wait, tomorrow is next month. Maybe the month after that.

I did a "pre-reg" for non-table holders at the April Meet.  My badge arrived Monday, 7/29, in SoCal.

 

Right on time!  

Quick response, received mine yesterday July 31, mailed July 24.

Mine must have taken the scenic route - registered online on June 19 and got it today (8/3).

 

One thing that I noticed with this badge is that it seems to change color slightly from the light lavender to a light blue when inserted in my official York badge holder.  I wonder if this will cause a problem with the door guards?  Anyone else notice this?

I just went through my "bills to pay" basket looking for the York packet and could not find it.  Looked everywhere it could be and no packet.  When I think about it, I don't think I every received mine (and I am paid up with TCA).

 

Should I call them for another?  Something about paying the online fee bugs me.

As for the online fee, I figure that it saves me one check and either two stamps and two envelopes, or one stamp, one envelope, and the time I would spend standing in line to pick up the badge.  Worth it for me either way.

Let's see.  Joined TCA 2 wks ago & made motel res.  Bought York badge on line Thurs & reserved electric scooter for 3 days. Sent scooter check yesterday.  Double checked the rusty sock this morning - funds look good.  Guess I'll be good to go whenever my badge arrives.
