Has anyone tried Lashing Up TMCC with a Legacy Locomotive? If so how did it work out?

I did you have to put the legacy unit into tmcc mode to lash them up you have to go into your legacy remote and in the setting of the loco there is a way to switch it to tmcc mode that's the only way it can work because the legacy works on a different frequency then tmcc
If you simply address it in TMCC mode with the CAB2 remote, presto, it's in TMCC mode.
As stated, you have to run both in TMCC mode, and also I believe making the TMCC the lead unit is recommended. Finally, disabling any cruise on both of them is probably going to be a good idea.
After doing all of that, the results are usually hit or miss, but some combos will run decently.
Running 2 TMCC engines is a crap shoot....throw in a Legacy engine in TMCC mode, the odds are stacked against you.
My VL BB and K-Line BB did not play well together.
I just wanted to say I Lash I love to Lash - Up my Diesel's all the time and you can assign using Trainlink button which engine creates the horn and sounds.... so you don't have to rely on the TMCC sound board on the Lead Engine. But as you run the Engines all train link engines switch back to TMCC like was programmed (or Legacy, which is preferred). This has worked for me since I started using my CAB-2 controller and I love the Lionel Legacy system ever since.
I like running pretty prototypical... right now I have a mix of TMCC Odyessy I and Legacy Odyessy II SD-80/ Dash 9 all pulling 30-50 consists of Coal, all powered.
