ok, i got questions here, i down loaded the free trail of AnyRail and have been reading the "manual", and im having a few issues with set up. the numbers for width and depth seem to be incredibly ambiguous. all i want to know is how the heck do you make your work space into a 4ft x 8 ft, and a 5ft x 10 ft both with a 12" grid?

I also have the same question . Size 18.5' x 11' then 3.5' x 27' overall 18.5' x 38'. any help would be great thank you all. Scot Pensgard
Click on Settings tab on top tool bar; set grid to 12 (12" = 1'). Click on Insert tab, click "Add Rectangle, and then click somewhere on grid. Adjust rectangle(s) to size via corners to represent table(s). Add track via Track Libraries. Adding the rectangle first allows a track overlay vs the rectangle covering track already added.
You set up the program with the units you want, either metric or English, and feet/inches or fractional feet or inches.

Press F1 for the instructions, it is all explained in there with illustrations included. To represent an L-shaped area you can use the "insert rectangle" feature to blank out part of the total area.
